National Day Against Bullying
On Friday, 18 March our school community celebrated the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence by wearing orange and undertaking fun activities celebrating and writing messages of kindness.
Each class was allocated an area of bitumen to write chalk messages of kindness and each student was asked to think about what kindness is and to draw and write their thoughts. Some of these thoughts have been put on display in our Library.
This was a great way to bring the issues of kindness, bullying and violence to the forefront and for students to consider the impact kindness has on everything and everyone.
