From the Principal
It has been a challenging but very rewarding term, we have seen our students demonstrate resilience, responsibility and respect in their relationships and their learning.
We are so proud of our students this term. We cannot wait to support and watch them continue to grow and improve for the remainder of the year.
Our staff have also been overwhelmed by the support of our parents, caregivers and community. Thank you.
We have two exciting events this week with our Easter Raffle on Wednesday and our Colour Fun Run on Thursday.
We have currently raised $9195! We are so close to reaching our goal of $10000. I think we can do it so please keep fundraising. On Thursday we will be selecting staff victims to slime at the beginning of our Colour Fun Run. We currently have nine staff who will be slimed, if we get to $10000 we will be able slime another staff member! We can do it!
We will be having an outdoor assembly on Thursday to commemorate ANZAC Day, which is in the holidays. Our Student Executive’s will be hosting this assembly. We also have some students attending the ANZAC Day service at the Onkaparinga Memorial Gardens to represent our school.
We are planning for many events next term including SAPSASA events, the Premier’s Be Active Challenge and Sports Day. We are hoping to have parents and caregivers on site for our Sports Day, a decision will be made closer to the event depending on the COVID-19 situation at the time. We are planning another awesome term.
Coming into the holidays I would like to remind you all to rest, be safe, and enjoy some time together with your family. Have an excellent Easter this weekend and I look forward to seeing you all again next term.
