My favourite colour used to be blue or purple, but this year it’s green. I’m loving spending time in my garden and outside noticing all of the different shades ad tones of green.

Thai green chicken curry. I love it! I think the chilli might be addictive.

My music tastes are varied. I like all sorts of music but my favourite band or group to listen to is Mumford and Sons.

Reading is one of my loves. I attend a book club each month so I get to talk about the books I read with some interesting people.

I love playing card games and board games. I don’t have a particular favourite.

If I could start over, I think I’d be a civil engineer. I love the built environment, particularly bridges.

My favourite year of students to teach is the year I am teaching now: 1s and 2s. I have actually loved every class and year level I have taught. There are great things about kids of all ages. Year 1s and 2s are very rewarding to teach as they have had a year to settle into school and are ready to learn.

I love teaching literacy. We could spend all day teaching literacy as there are so many components that are all vital and interesting.

I’d love to take my daughters to England to see my sister and her family, as well as my other friends and relatives over there. England has so many places of interest and geographically diverse places to visit. I wouldn’t want to go there in winter though!
