On Wednesday we harvested beetroot

and made the most delicious chocolate and beetroot muffins.  Some students were very skeptical and wary about trying the beetroot and chocolate combination...some had never tried beetroot in a sweet dish before but I was very proud that all the students tried them and loved them....some actually surprised themselves at how much they actually loved them!! It was wonderful to see students trying new and different foods and food combinations. Our other recipes for this week were Creamy Dill Dip and Kale Bruschetta.
