Hello, my name is Erin Douglas and I am Pimpala's Aboriginal Community Education Officer (ACEO).  I started with Pimpala PS on 13th September, last year.  You may have seen me around.  

I grew up in Mount Gambier.  However, my family is from Oodnadatta in northern South Australia.  I am an Arabana woman.

I am looking forward to working with the aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander students. I will be working closely with Deb Hampton who is our Aboriginal Education Teacher.

My role is to work with the ATSI students in our community to build relationships with culture and country, as well as helping the children with their academic learning. 

I am married to my wonderful husband and we have 2 beautiful girls who are 8 and 11 years old.
