Term 1, 2023 - UPDATE
It is strongly recommended that students and staff stay at home for 5 days if they test positive for COVID19. If they are still symptomatic after 5 days then a longer period of absence may be required.
COVID-19 vaccinations will be mandatory for all people who work or volunteer at Pimpala Primary School, except those who have a medical exemption endorsed by the Chief Public Health Officer. This includes:
- <All of our staff and contractors
- <Anyone who visits our schools/preschool/children’s centre for work purposes
- Governing Council members
- <!All volunteers and parent helpers (people who assist with reading, camps, excursions, canteen, fundraising etc).
The Direction does not apply to students, parents dropping off or picking up children, attending parent teacher interviews, events or similar, as long as they are not working or volunteering at the event and COVID safe measures are followed.

Our number one priority is providing a safe environment for our students and for our staff, and this new measure aims to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Parents and visitors on site
Parents, volunteers and visitors are welcome in schools and preschools providing COVID safe measures are in place and followed.
All parents and visitors are required to practise physical distancing from other adults.
Face mask use
Face mask use is optional for adults and students - unless directed through SA Health.
School events have been listed on our calendar but please be aware that they are subject to change / cancellation from any COVID-19 restrictions and local situations. Please check the calendar for updates regularly.
